All of our instructors are licensed counselors with experience in children and families.
All questions regarding divorce, probate or other law should be directed toward a qualified attorney.
- Class is $50 per person plus a $2.00 processing fee for credit card transactions.
- A complete registration for EACH PERSON who is attending the seminar is required.
- Class is a one time four and a half hour session
- If you can not attend the entire four and a half hours or if you are late you will have to reschedule to another class. If you are attending the ZOOM CLASS, you must be present for roll call or you not will get credit for having attended the class.
- You may attend together or separately with the other party. Both parties must attend a class.
- There is no test.
- Children are not allowed in class. There is no child care provided.
- Certificate of completion
- IN PERSON CLASS, you will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of class. Due to the statewide E-filing requirement, we no longer file Certificates of Completion with the courts. You may file it yourself using the kiosks in the court lobby or your lawyer may file it for you.
- ZOOM CLASS, you will receive a Certificate of Completion by the end of the next business day, provided that you have completed all requirements. Due to the statewide E-filing requirement, we no longer file Certificates of Completion with the courts. You may file it yourself using the kiosks in the court lobby or your lawyer may file it for you.
- If your case is separate maintenance/paternity/ change of custody/ visitation/legitimation etc. this class will fulfill the parent education requirement.
- Children of Divorce® in-person Parent Education Program is accepted state and nationwide to fulfill the four hour parent education course requirement.
- If you must change your scheduled class, please call 770-920-9114 at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule at no charge. There will be a $10 rescheduling fee for change request made with less than 48 hours notice or no shows.
- If you would like to attend class but do not require a certificate, please contact us at 770-920-9114 for discounted pricing.
- If you do not have a case number or have not filed yet you may still attend class.
- Payment Options
- FOR IN PERSON CLASSES, you may register online 24 hours in advance and pay using cash or money order the day of class. Checks and debit/credit cards are not accepted at the door.
- FOR ZOOM CLASSES, you must pay at least 24 hours in advance with your debit/credit card.You may register 24 hours in advance online. If you have already paid your tuition but could not attend please contact our office to transfer to another class. There is a $10 rescheduling fee.
- Duplicate certificates are $10 each if they are emailed or faxed. It is an additional $1 per certificate for mailing. Please call 770-920-9114 to order and allow 3 – 5 business days for processing.

- Certificates are only valid for 2 years. If it has been more than two years, you must retake the class to fulfill the requirement.
- You are allowed to bring in food/drink. There will be short breaks, but they are not long enough to leave and come back. Some locations do not have vending machines.
- Classes take place in the Eastern Standard Time Zone.
- DUE TO AN INCREASE IN ILLEGITIMATE PAYMENT DISPUTES, ANY PAYMENT DISPUTE THROUGH PAYPAL WILL INCUR A $25 RETURNED PAYMENT FEE AND REVOCATION OF YOUR CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION. PLEASE CONTACT OUR OFFICE WITH ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING PAYMENT SO THAT WE MAY RESOLVE THE ISSUE TOGETHER.
